Beach Holidays (13 Nights, 14 Days)
Day 01 Trivandrum and Kovalam
Arrive at Trivandrum. You will be received at the airport / station and transferred to Kovalam, the beach resort of South India enriched with the greenery of coconut palms and laced with golden sands. On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day you are free to relax or enjoy your day at the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 Kovalam
Kovalam - whole day to relax at the beach.
Day 03 Kovalam and Trivandrum
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Trivandrum. This guided tour will take you to Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the Horse Palace, the magnificent wooden palace constructed by the Travancore Maharajas and now converted into a museum, Zoo, Sri Chitra Art Gallery and Napier museum. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 04 Kanyakumari
After breakfast, drive to Kanyakumari, en-route visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, the magnificent wooden palace constructed by the Maharajas of Travancore. Thereafter continue to Kanyakumari, the southern most tip of India. Proceed for sightseeing at the cape, which includes Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Memorial, etc. Watch the sunset at Kanyakumari, a magnificent site. Return back to Kovalam and stay overnight at the hotel. Day 05 Marari
Leave Kovalam for Marari. En-route stop at Varkala, a seaside resort and spa and an important pilgrimage centre. Visit the Papanasham beach, a 2000-year-old Janardhanaswamy temple and the Nature Care Centre. Stop at Kumarakom, situated on the Vembanad Lake, take a boat ride along the scenic lake. Reach Marari, check into the resort for overnight stay
Day 06 Marari
Marari is a beautiful location for exploring the marvellous backwaters where the tranquility and the stunning scenery gives the feeling of being transported back in time and leaves one with a superbly relaxing and inspiring experience. Activities here include cycling, beach activities, visit to a fishing village and coir factory. This place also offers a chance to practice yoga, country canoe rides etc. Overnight stay at the resort. Day 07 Marari and Cochin
After breakfast proceed to Cochin for a city tour covering Jewish Synagogue-Built in 1568 the oldest synagogue in the Commonwealth stands, adorned by hundreds of exquisite hand-painted Chinese tiles in blue and white. St Francis Church, originally built out of wood in 1503 and thus earning fame as the oldest European Church in India (Vasco de Gama was buried here). Dutch Palace - As you climb it's stone steps, you enter a different world of Palanquins and heraldry, jewels and rich murals. Walk around the cobbled streets. In the evening you are free for shopping. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08 Marari
Spend the day relaxing in Marari. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 09 Flight/Train journey to Goa
Leave for Goa by the afternoon train/flight. Arrive at Goa, check into the hotel. The magnificent churches and Cathedrals in Goa have a legacy of over 400 years of Portuguese rule. In the evening you are free to relax on the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 10 Goa
Relax and spend time by the beach. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 Goa
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Goa which includes magnificent churches, exquisite temples and awesome forts, breathtaking museums and galleries, wildlife sanctuaries and green gardens and parks. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 12 Goa
Relax by the beach in Goa. Attend the colourful and lively boat cruise at night.
Day 13 Goa
Continue the stay at Goa and spend another day by the beach.
Day 14 Departure
Transfer to Goa (Madgaon/Dabolim) Railway Station/Airport to connect Train/Flight for return journey.
