The Fantastic North East Expedition (10 Days 9 Nights)
     Gangtok-Pelling-Darjeeling

Day 1 : Kalimpong
   On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport, you will be met by our local representative at who will assist you to board your vehicle to Kalimpong. Check in and over night at hotel.

Day 2 : Kalimpong - Gangtok
   After breakfast, engage in a visit to flower nurseries, Durbin Dara hills and Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang. Transfer to Gangtok. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Gangtok
   Go for a half-day sightseeing covering Rumtek Monastery, Droul Chorthen, Research institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Flower Show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 : Gangtok
   This is a day excursion to Tshangu Lake - situated at a height of 3,780 mts. with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Return back to Gangtok. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 : Gangtok - Pelling
   Transfer to Pelling (116 kms / 5 hrs). Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 : Pelling
   Full day sightseeing covering Rimbi waterfalls, Rimbi Hydel project, Khecheopari Lake and Kanchenjunga falls. Back to hotel for lunch. After lunch you cover Pemayangtse monastery, Changay falls, Singsor bridge and Dentam village (includes Alpine Cheese factory). Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 : Pelling - Darjeeling
   Transfer to Darjeeling. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8 : Darjeeling
   After breakfast visit to Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing & Gombu. Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre & Tea Estate. Afternoon visit to Rock Garden & Ganga Maya Lake. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9 : Darjeeling
   Early morning tour to Tiger hills to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, and Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Natural History Museum, Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Lal Kothi, Ava Art Gallery and Dhirdham Temple. Evening free for self-activity. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Darjeeling - departure
   Transfer to railway station or airport, for onwards connection.

•  Transportation based on 01 Non-A/C Maruti Van / similar.

•  Accommodation at Kalimpong, Gangtok, Pelling & Darjeeling will be on CPAI (Bed and Breakfast) basis.
