The Himachali Culture (12 Days 11 Nights)
Day 1 : Kolkata
Arrive at Kolkata, proceed for Chandigarh by train.
Day 2 : Transit
In transit.
Day 3 : Chandigarh, Manali
Arrive at Chandigarh and proceed to Manali in the morning. Day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4 : Rhotang Pass
After breakfast, excursion to Rhotang Pass. Enjoy the day full of elegant sightseeing including trekking through the Rhotang Pass. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5 : Vaishist, Manali
Full day excursion to Vashist, Manaili town, and Solang valley- the most beautiful destinations in the Himachal Valley. Enjoy the evening.
Day 6 : Manikaran, Kulu
In the afternoon depart for Manikaran. Perched on the right bank of the roaring Parvati River, Manikaran is situated at an altitude of 1760 m and is located at a distance of about 45 kms, from Kulu, via Bhuntar, in Kulu district of Himachal Pradesh. Manikaran, a place of pilgrimage for Hindus and Sikhs, has many temples and a gurudwara. Return to visit Kulu and stay overnight in a hotel.
Day 7 : Kulu, Dharmshala
The town of Kulu is famous for its colourful Dussehra festival. Decorated palanquins and processions convey Gods and Goddesses. Depart Kulu Via Kangra Town and Mandi to Dharmshala. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 : Dharmsala
Full day excursion visiting Dharmsala and Mcleodganj. Dharmsala has become the synonymous to the Tibetan government in exile and the home of Tibetan leader Dalai Lama. Even if the Tibetan community dominates the town, it has retained the colonial lifestyle and British fervour. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 : Dharmsala
Stay at Dharmsala.
Day 10 : Jammu, Pathankot
Drive to Phatankot to board train.
Day 11 : Transit
In transit.
Day 12 : Kolkata
Arrive at Kolkata.

Early breakfast and drive to Shimla. Situated in the North-West Himalayas, the climate of Shimla varies from a maximum of 10-11 degrees in winter to a maximum of 25-26 degrees in summers. En route visit Mandi town.On arrival day at leisure.
Day 8 : Kufri, Chail, Masobra
After breakfast Full day excursion visiting Kufri, Chail. Masobra Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 : Kalka
Visit the surroundings in the morning. Late in the afternoon depart for Kalka to board train.
Day 10 : Transit

Day 11 : Departure
Arrive at Kolkata.

Day 12 : Dharmsala
After breakfast, visit Dharmsala , which is known as the “Queen of the Hills”. Dharmsala is perched on the high slopes in the upper reaches of Kangra Valley. The town is divided into two distinct and widely separated sections, upper and lower Dharmsala, which differ almost a thousand metres in height.
Day 13 : Khajjar
After breakfast drive to Khajjar, visit the surroundings and over night stay at Khajjar.
Day 14 : Dalhousie
After breakfast drive to Dalhousie and afternoon visit of Dalhousie town.
Day 15 : Chamba
After breakfast excursion to Chamba town and see the Mahals, Museum.
Day 16 : Phathankot / Jammu
Morning drive to Phathankot or Jammu for connecting train.
